What a powerful film that examines poverty, but it also inspires all to push for what you love even if you fail, you keep going.

Mississippi Masala review

Posted : 3 years ago on 11 April 2021 08:08 (A review of Mississippi Masala)

This is a powerful film that explores the racism experienced by all the characters of color, especially for the family that was expelled from Uganda. It gets audiences to investigate Idi Amin's rise to power through a coup.

This is a brilliantly structured dark comedy by the Coen Brothers. It's a remake of the original film. All the characters are hilarious and interesting.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial review

Posted : 3 years ago on 10 April 2021 09:02 (A review of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial)

This is such an emotionally powerful film that reflected the important issues of its time period such as the dissecting of live frogs in schools. It goes even further than that with concerns about the USA government's surveillance and intrusion of a family without a father.

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (PC) review

Posted : 3 years ago on 9 April 2021 05:50 (A review of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (PC))

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy is one of the most immersive gaming experiences I ever had in a long time. Never have I had this feeling of getting stuck with side quests since Ocarina of Time. Beautiful soundtrack, Zelda-like combat, great platforming, and plenty of quests.

American Blackout review

Posted : 3 years ago on 31 March 2021 07:47 (A review of American Blackout)

This is one of the most powerful and life-changing documentaries I have ever seen. The overwhelming evidence of stripping black and brown communities of color on their right to vote during the 2000 and 2004 elections are so disgusting, and it's just as relevant and still going on today. The film also focuses on one of the greatest progressive politicians that would put AOC and squad to shame.

This is a powerful documentary about one of the greatest writers in American history that will change your perspective on learning important truths while unlearning the lies you have been told.

The Mauritanian review

Posted : 3 years, 1 month ago on 12 March 2021 03:05 (A review of The Mauritanian)

Such a life-changing movie that forces their viewers to reflect on our USA government violating human rights by torturing innocent people, and shows characters making moral decisions after being confronted with evidence of said torture.

The Mummy Returns review

Posted : 3 years, 1 month ago on 28 February 2021 07:33 (A review of The Mummy Returns)

The sequel is significantly better than the original. I can tell the scenes were crafted very well with a lot of effort, has an incredible soundtrack, and non-stop action.
