Gods and Monsters review

Posted : 9 years, 11 months ago on 14 May 2014 06:13 (A review of Gods and Monsters)

One of the most brilliant, shocking films I have ever seen. What an experience seeing all the film's content, as well as the crazily convincing performance by Sir Ian McKellen.

Godzilla review

Posted : 9 years, 11 months ago on 12 May 2014 04:09 (A review of Godzilla)

Nice introductory tone with a fantastic monster design that falls dramatically short past the middle of the film. The content isn't as thoroughly executed as Pacific Rim, which I consider to be a classic in the monster genre for this generation.

RoboCop review

Posted : 9 years, 11 months ago on 10 May 2014 03:36 (A review of RoboCop)

There's some really excellent entertaining moments that kept me to continue seeing it, but it falls short from its lack of commitment to perfect its shots, script, specific character roles that lack depth, and pacing. Not to mention, I am disgusted by the message it portrayed in the ending.

Devil review

Posted : 10 years ago on 27 April 2014 02:48 (A review of Devil)

One of the creepiest, most unique films I have ever seen. An elevator-themed movie from Shyamalan that is told in 80 minutes of constant thrills.

A Few Good Men review

Posted : 10 years ago on 17 April 2014 03:37 (A review of A Few Good Men)

This film is better than Tom Cruise's other Navy role called Top Gun. Better performances, so much meaning, very interesting characters, and an overall good military-themed film.

The Shining review

Brilliant psychological thriller, and likely one of those adaptions that surpass the book. Kubrick has a nack for doing this after A Clockwork Orange.

Amazing '80s soundtrack, perfectly stylized scenes, and very interesting characters with some creative nicknames. This is an amazing movie!

Sissi review

Posted : 10 years, 1 month ago on 23 March 2014 05:07 (A review of Sissi)

Amazing, sweet, romantic German film. A very deep message regarding one's dream & desire for true love and freedom, which is limited by the lifestyle & duties of royalty.

One of the best Spielberg films. An classic thriller with so much suspense, and very interesting supporting characters.

The Passion of the Christ (2004) review

One of my favorite Jesus films! Very emotional film with expressive artistic violence, breathtaking cinematography, and a beautiful soundtrack.
