The Aviator review

Posted : 10 years, 3 months ago on 2 February 2014 09:31 (A review of The Aviator)

Visually brilliant biography! One of the biggest contenders for Best Picture, and a surprisingly-mindblowing role for DiCaprio. I really like the style taken in the visual effects and cinematography.

In my opinion, one of the most underrated films. Everything about this musical just blew me away! I cannot believe the talent and hard work that was put into this production. The cast and crew did an excellent job!

The Black Dahlia review

Posted : 10 years, 3 months ago on 2 February 2014 09:29 (A review of The Black Dahlia)

I'm sorry, but this film is really impressive. Not only do I like the cinematography, but the story left me curious to know more. It's one of those films that require multiple viewings, so I'm not exactly 100% on the 8/10. The scenes actually connect well with one another, but that is left with the audience. Director Brian DePalma has a very interesting artistic style, in my opinion. It leaves me to discover more about his work in the future.

Around the World in 80 Days review

Comedic, adventurous, and a great deal of fun. Phileas Fogg is a loveable gentleman who places a bet to go around the world in 80 days.

Orphan review

Brilliant thriller! That film freaked me out, and it had very unpredictable scenes and situations. Camera work is done well, and the story seems really unique. A rare gem to behold around Hollywood filmmaking.

The Beach review

Under-appreciated! Get yourselves a brain, and watch this film. It is amazing! Crazy, controversial material on independence in an Island paradise.

Always a huge fan of Shyamalan's style, and this one breaks rules. It's unique to Hollywood filmmaking. Underrated director.

The Hurt Locker review

This is an intense film with a great deal of suspense. Not surprised given the nature that this is pretty much about bomb disposal.
