Resident Evil Triple Pack - Nintendo Switch review

Posted : 2 years, 4 months ago on 13 November 2021 02:43 (A review of Resident Evil Triple Pack - Nintendo Switch)

Unfortunately, Resident Evil 4 on Switch came with a lot of problems. It's clear not much effort was put into fixing this obviously rushed port. There's some serious sound problems that affects immersion as well as the ability to identify enemies approaching you from behind and the side. The brightness is extremely low while playing docked, and I still encounter issues in dark areas even after maximizing the brightness. Overall, the game is still an incredible ride while playing on-the-go. Don't play with headphones.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 review

Posted : 2 years, 4 months ago on 13 November 2021 02:33 (A review of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3)

Overall, I believe this game is slightly worse than Modern Warfare 2. Aside from some the entertaining online multiplayer, campaign, and decent controls, the game overall is still not so hot. There's not as much value in its game design compared with the best FPS games like GoldenEye 007, Halo, and Half-Life 2.

Call of Duty: World at War review

Posted : 2 years, 4 months ago on 13 November 2021 02:32 (A review of Call of Duty: World at War)

Slightly better than Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Aside from some the entertaining online multiplayer, campaign, and decent controls, the game overall is still not so hot. There's not as much value in its game design compared with the best FPS games like GoldenEye 007, Halo, and Half-Life 2. However, I have to admit that the online multiplayer and weapons are fun. There's clearly some positive strengths between this game and Modern Warfare 2. The two games are neck and neck in terms of overall quality.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 review

Posted : 2 years, 4 months ago on 13 November 2021 02:29 (A review of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2)

Slightly better than the previous Modern Warfare. Aside from some the entertaining online multiplayer, campaign, and decent controls, the game overall is still not so hot. There's not as much value in its game design compared with the best FPS games like GoldenEye 007, Halo, and Half-Life 2. It's clear the military recruiting and the gaming industry propagandized young people to think participating in illegal wars is somehow "cool."

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare review

Posted : 2 years, 4 months ago on 13 November 2021 02:27 (A review of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare)

Aside from some the entertaining online multiplayer, campaign, and decent controls, the game overall is mediocre. There's not as much value in its game design compared with the best FPS games like GoldenEye 007, Halo, and Half-Life 2. Most important of all, the overall pro-war story and disgusting quotes at every death is so unethical. It's clear the military recruiting and the gaming industry propagandized young people to think participating in illegal wars is somehow "cool."

Duplicate review

This is such an incredible remake that has its own strengths over the original game. Absolutely gorgeous graphics, tight controls, addicting mini games, and still amazing dungeon design.

Metroid: Other M review

Posted : 2 years, 4 months ago on 4 November 2021 01:42 (A review of Metroid: Other M)

What a severely underrated game! Those criticizing several categories of Other M like the script and voice acting are illegitimate. I saw absolutely nothing significantly wrong with this game. It's a wild ride from start to finish. There are some minor pacing problems when it comes to upgrading to the next item and some backtracking for expansions, but it's still a fantastic game with insanely satisfying combat against enemies and bosses.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask review

Posted : 2 years, 5 months ago on 28 October 2021 09:55 (A review of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask)

A deep, atmospheric, and complex masterpiece in game design full of a perfect balance of side quests and main quests. Combining these quests within a time limit improves with replay value leading to a satisfying sense of accomplishment every time you save with the Song of Time.

Super Smash Bros. Melee review

Posted : 2 years, 5 months ago on 20 October 2021 09:03 (A review of Super Smash Bros. Melee)

This is an incredible game, but it doesn't beat Smash Ultimate. Very nice single player like Adventure and Event Match. The game is still fun to play, but it hasn't aged too well.

God of War review

Posted : 2 years, 5 months ago on 20 October 2021 08:59 (A review of God of War)

What a phenomenally long experience. One of the best hack and slash games ever. The sequel is the significantly better game overall with polished and better moves, but there's a certain charm that comes from the original. I love all the levels.
